This Sun print declares that "It took 8 minutes and 18 seconds for the Light to reach this paper.  It is a direct reference to the amount of time it takes for light to reach the surface of the Earth from the Sun. It is also the amount of time that this slow developing Sun Print was exposed for. All the elements that go together to create this work are tied together quite neatly creating a self contained piece. It also encourages the spectator to think about stellar distances in terms of our own limited experience.
